Regarding our Company Name

In Japan companies tend to have an underlying philosophy when they are created. For our new business name and mission, we took Socrates’ combination of the words “Philosophy” (thought) and “Sophia” (wisdom) to form the word “Philosophia”, and modified it slightly for our industry, and for fun. We then replaced the first letters “Phil” with “Fil” from the word “film” to create Filosophia.
